Alpha bedroom

The Alpha bedroom range is designed by Danish designer Hans Thyge Raunkjær and is sold exclusively in England to the John Lewis Partnership. 

The Alpha range is a classical furniture collection, which combines classic elements from the 60^th design era with more up to date modern design elements. 

The level of craftsmanship is very high, with the carefully shaped soft corners on the legs in an overall tight and minimalist design. In this range the soft meets the square and simple forms. 

The bed and chest of drawers has a nice approach that invites the feel of rounded mattresses and soft bed linen. The headboards are refined, stylish and have a classical approach that makes them timeless. 

The bedroom is  an environment for sleeping, wellness and relaxation and this is reflected in the soft lines and non-aggressive design of this range. 

The range is made from a half and half mix of solid Ash and Ash veneer.
