Where do you find your inspiration?
The inspiration of the most successful series in the life of Zenia House was inspired by several trips to USA and studies of the Shaker settlements in North east America. Zenia House works in the field between history and modern living and in order to find new ideas and inspiration it is a matter of digging in our history. How did we live and how is our living patterns changing over time. Travelling around the world, visits at antique markets, museums and just visiting people is a major inspiration. The collections for Zenia House are in general developed with one unique idea and concept in mind.

What kind of material do you work with?
For Zenia House I have primarily used wood, but in general the studio is working in all kinds of materials.
